ABOUT US
About My Malta Trip
My Malta Trip is an independent English-language travel website designed to help travellers plan better trips across Malta, Gozo and Comino.
Practical travel information for real trips
My Malta Trip focuses on the decisions that matter when planning a holiday: where to stay, how to get around, what is worth seeing, which beaches suit different travellers, how to build a realistic itinerary and when advance booking matters. Our aim is to make useful information easier to find without turning a simple trip into an unnecessarily complicated project.
The site is written for different kinds of visitors, including first-time travellers, couples, families, independent travellers, people travelling without a car, budget-conscious visitors and travellers looking for more comfortable or premium experiences.
Malta, Gozo and Comino
Although the Maltese Islands are compact, the experience can change considerably from one area to another. Valletta is very different from Mellieħa; Gozo has a different rhythm from Sliema; and a day at Comino requires different planning from a cultural day in Mdina or the Three Cities. Our guides try to explain those differences so readers can choose what fits their own trip rather than simply follow a generic checklist.
How we research our guides
For practical information that can change, such as transport arrangements, attraction access, tickets, opening hours, visitor systems and official rules, we prioritise official operators, public authorities and primary sources whenever possible. We also review the wider context so that factual information is translated into useful travel advice.
We do not invent first-hand experiences, prices, facilities, accessibility details, schedules or local rules. Travel information changes, so important details should always be checked again with the relevant official provider before a journey or booking.
Editorial independence and affiliate links
Some pages contain affiliate links. If a reader completes a qualifying booking or purchase through one of those links, My Malta Trip may receive a commission at no additional cost to the reader. Affiliate relationships help support the website, but they do not determine our editorial conclusions.
Read our Editorial Policy for more about research and corrections, and our Affiliate Disclosure for more information about commercial links.
Corrections and feedback
Malta changes: transport routes are adjusted, visitor systems evolve, businesses close or move, and attraction arrangements can change. If you notice information that appears outdated or incorrect, please use the Contact page and identify the relevant article and detail. Where possible, include an official or primary source so the information can be checked efficiently.
